Planetary Colors

You can use colors to activate certain houses in your horoscope. Each planet has a color association. By wearing that color more or using it more in your expression, you can activate that planet ~ thus activating the houses it rules in your horoscope.

Colors and the mental activation they spark has been studied for years in psychology. It is used in marketing as well as to bring about certain emotions. The decorations in your house and the colors keep you at a certain frequency emotionally.

When you walk into a restaurant and you see the wait staff, they are usually wearing black. It's interesting that Saturn represents the servant or servitude in Astrology & is associated with the color BLACK. In fashion Black is a sign of elegance, luxury and MYSTERY. It has a slimming effect and it's a staple color in a lot of people's wardrobe. "In physics and on the light spectrum, black is the absence of color. Wearing more black colors will activate SATURN's energy. Excess black can cause depression as it's the darkest color. Saturn exalts in Libra and Libra is the fashion industry, so this color is HUGE in fashion.

Some planets have multiple color associations. Saturn is also associated with Blue as the gemstone for Saturn is blue sapphire. Also, Shani Dev is said to be dark blue in complexion.

So using colors will activate that planet and the house it rules in your horoscope. Wanting more energy for career? Taurus Ascendant - 10h Lord is Saturn - wear more black. Saturn is also yogakaraka (benefic) for Taurus ascendant - so this can help. Be careful though,you increase the planets potential in your horoscope. Think about Saturn's karakas as well. Make sure the planet is friendly to your ascendant too. Cancer Lagnas do good using more deep red colors because of Mars being Yoga Karaka and lord of their 10H. Which improves their career.

I have noticed in general using colors of kendra (1,4,7,10) or trikona lords(1,5,9)is generally okay. Kendras as Vishnu Sthan (preserving) Trikonas are Lakshmi Sthan (wealth/prosperity giving)

White and Moon - Moon represents Mind - White represents peace of mind, clarity. Mercury & Green - commerce, spreading of seeds, plants and also calms the mind. You may find certain colors you do not like because of the way the planet is placed/aspected in your horoscope.

Jupiter and Sun are besties and they both associated with YELLOW - color of optimism. Beyonce wears a lot of Yellow & Gold and she's a sidereal Leo Sun -- activating her 11H, increasing her mass popularity. She also has Vishakha Moon = GOLDEN

Rihanna wears a lot of Red Red - Mars - Mars rules her 9th house and 2nd house and is in her 10th house - career improvement (10H), monetary gains (2h), world wide success, fortune (9h)

Lady Gaga's first album covers all had heavy black influence. She began to rise in her career during her SATURN dasha. Notice all the black. Interestingly enough on ARTPOP she has a song called Venus & look at the colors.

Like for me, a Cancer Lagna— I probably SHOULDN’T be wearing so many black shirts. Saturn is highly malefic for Cancer lagnas.
